Hugo Chavez Dead, Miraflores Palace Empty


HugoChavez-300x225Today, news has spread that Hugo Chavez has died at age 58. After battling with cancer for the past year or two, he succumbed to issues related to severe respiratory problems.

Mr. Chavez had not made a public appearance since he returned to Venezuela last month after cancer treatment in Cuba.

An emotional Nicolas Maduro made the announcement on Tuesday evening. Earlier, he said the 58-year-old Venezuelan president had a new, respiratory infection and had entered “his hardest hours”.

  1. Hugo Chavez was certainly sincere about social justice, but I don’t think he choose the best way to reach that goal. Historically, socialism has always been detrimental to the nations it was supposed to serve. Also, I don’t understand why Chavez hated the US with such intensity. By the way, I noticed that countries whose leaders hate the US are most of the times countries where atrocities are commited on a daily basis…
