Jiaozhou Bay Bridge is World's Longest Sea Bridge In China

Located in Beijing this bridge sans 26.4 miles of sea. The bridge was built in order to link China's eastern port city of Qingdao to the island of Huangdao. Costing 1.5 billion US dollars to build this lengthy bridge is sure to be worth it. The previous bridge was 2.5 miles shorter located in Louisiana's Lake Pontchartrain Causeway. Construction took a mere 4 years to build, including over 5,000 structural pillars. Enough steel was used to build over 65 Eiffel Towers!
