World's Narrowest House in Poland

August 9, 2012

An alley between an old apartment block and a tower block in Warsaw, Poland is home to the world's skinniest house. The four story home will have a bedroom, lounge, bathroom and kitchen. but instead of the traditional staircase, each floor will be accessed by a ladder.
It will take over from the world's current official narrowest house, The Wedge, on the island of Great Cumbrae. The building goes back 40 feet.

It seems innovative and cozy, but I don't think I could live here. I would get claustrophobic after a couple days and eventually go crazy. Personally I prefer open spaces with lots of storage. This would be a good house for a student though, but I doubt any student wold be able to afford it!
