Tree Pod dining could very easily become one of the most new ways to take pleasure in an intimate dinner or a lengthy care-free lunch amongst the tree tops, and that’s simply what visitors at the Six Senses’ Soneva Kiri will be accomplishing. Situated on the far off Thai island of Kood, Soneva Kiri is a high-class vacation getaway set amongst the abundant tropical jungles off the south-east coast of the Gulf of Siam. Although the resort provides guests with an assortment of cusine experiences and resort activities, we just adore the look of the tree pod dining.
Set high among the tree tops, tree pod dining is an impressive way to experience a mealtime. Located 16 feet (5 meters) away from the ground, the dining pod is enclosed by lush tree tops and views of the encompassing sandy beaches. The pod is designed with a firm frame that is covered in weaved rattan and can support up to four diners. Visitors can rest and appreciate the surroundings when their food and drinks are presented by a “flying” waiter, harnessed to a zip-line.
An evening for two at Soneva Kiri begins at US$950 and features appointed air transfers, three meals everyday with home brand liquor or soft beverages, minibar, in-villa wireless, laundry services, chosen resort activities and the opportunity to dine in the tree-top dining pod.
