Once a Home, Now just Abandoned Mess

Once a Home, Ohio

Perhaps the most stunning thing about this abandoned home in Pike County, Ohio is the surprisingly massive pile of aluminum cans dumped in front of the house.* When the house was found along a 4 miles dirt driveway officers were discussed and shocked with disturbing images. As an officer opened the front door he uncovered the body of Gilmore. Officers hypothesized that he starved to death because he was unable to fit through the door, as he was morbidly obese. He also hoarded cans. * Everything between the asterisks is not true, just trying to bring on the Halloween creeps.

I enjoy being part of Urban Splatter as it continues to create evolving opportunities within the digital realm of architecture.
