China's Zifeng Tower Mimics the Society
The Zifeng Tower (formerly known as Nanjing Greenland Financial Center) composes two separate blocks connected by a podium. The skyscraper is divided into sections containing hotels, restaurants, shopping and mostly offices. The interesting geometry of the building mimics the existing road structures.
This building is very cool to look at and is clearly a modern building. I love the way it can reflect what the local weather is on the side of the building due to its reflectiveness. I would love to be able to work in or visit this building. The view you get of Nanjing, China at the top of this building is probably spectacular.
Check out some of the details and specifications of the building below. Can you believe how tall it is at 1,476 feet and 89 stories? You can tell this building was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill by the way it looks. It is slightly similar to the Willis Tower in Chicago, Illinois.
