After Sammy Sosa purchased the oceanfront home in 2014 for $7.6 million, he only used a handful of times. Sosa sought to make a quick sale. And he did. The deal closed in less than 45 days of going under contract for $9.15 million. Over the three year stay, Sosa made only $1’415 per day compared to the average of $18’884 he made in his professional baseball career. The dollars were drops in the ocean, but brought a modest short term investment.

The property occupies 24’900 square feet of beachfront land. There is also a central courtyard and a koi pond.
