Detroit Skyline: Best Images and Photos

November 23, 2021

The Detroit skyline is one of the most distinguishable skylines in the United States. It has many different buildings that really stick out. The Detroit Marriot at the Renaissance Center, owned by GM, is the tallest building in not only Detroit but all of Michigan. It is probably the building that stands out the most in the entire skyline with its cool 4 cylindrical towers and one main center tower.

One other building that really stands out is the Penobscot Building, which was built in 1928. Furthermore, it was the 8th tallest building in the world when it was finally completed. it is a great example of Art Deco style and even has a red neon beacon tower. How cool is that? Also, this building is my personal favorite of the entire skyline.

Known for its older, great architecture is Detroit. Many buildings are Art Deco or Gothic style and look extra gritty today. Furthermore, this is a vibe you do not get from many cities any longer. Most cities have more of a modern look when you compare them.

I think Detroit definitely is in the top 10 skylines that offer Art Deco style in the United States. This city is beautiful. I just love it. It does not have the size of New York City or Chicago, but it is very delicate and well thought out. What do you think of the Detroit view?
