Steve Harvey is an American actor, game-show host, and stand-up comedian. Harvey was born in West Virginia in 1957. He started his stand-up comedy career on October 8, 1985, at the Hilarities Comedy Club in Cleveland, Ohio. He then made his way to television in the early 1990s as a host of It's Showtime at the Apollo. Additionally, he landed a starring role on the ABC show Me and the Boys in 1994. Then from 1996-2002, he starred in his own show, The Steve Harvey Show. Furthermore, he currently hosts the long-running game show, Family Feud, taking over for John O'Hurley in 2010.
