4. Roatàn

Formerly known as Ruatan and Rattan, this island lies in the Caribbean, 65km from the northern coast of Honduras. Want to make your scuba diving dream come true? Don't miss this location if you’re going to explore the world's second-largest barrier reef. Make sure you expect to spend at least $31 per day.

On average, hotel prices for a couple will cost you $18 per night. So if you are planning to stay there for a week with a friend, you have to spend around $430. Since it is an island, everything used here has to be imported, so that the prices can go up quickly. The best time to visit Roatàn is in May and September when the place is not flocked with tourists.

5. Rita de Las Flores

Located in El Salvador, the literal meaning of this place's name is "the flower route." Walking through the road, you can enjoy the historical view of Salvadoran architecture and its rich culture. Don't forget to visit the local markets and get yourself some of their beautiful handmade products. Relax with a cup of the famous Salvadoran coffee and try out their cuisine.

You can also visit Cordillera Apaneca, which is a volcanic mountain. There you can enjoy horse riding and hiking and get thrilled by the waterfalls.

A full meal will take only $6, and book a hotel for under $10 to $100 according to your requirements. The cost adds up if you are visiting different tourist locations. For example, you can hike the seven waterfalls for $20 and go zipping for $35.

6. Dominican

But what if you are not into surfing? Dominican offers so much more. 7. Leon

Find the flourishing school town of León, probably Nicaragua's most seasoned city, and the nation's political and social focus. Spend only about $49 per day, including hotel costs and food!

10. Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve

This is undoubtedly one of the best tourist attractions in Costa Rica, along with the Tilaraàn mountain range. The place is enriched with biodiversity, with over 400 bird species, 2500 types of plants, 100 species of mammals, and 1200 different reptiles and amphibians.

Go hiking, ziplining, or sky walking over suspension bridges to enjoy to the fullest. You can also take canopy tours.

The place is open from 7 am to 4 pm daily and will cost you $25 at the entrance if you are a foreigner. If you are taking a child of age 6 to 12 with you, the ticket price will be $12.
