Rob Dyrdek is an American reality TV personality and former professional skateboarder. He was born in Kettering, OH on June 28th, 1974. He started skateboarding at age 11, after receiving his first skateboard from professional skateboarder Neil Blender. Additionally, at the age of 12, Dyrdek acquired sponsorship from the same company that Blender was a team member of and began his skateboarding career. Dyrdek starred in MTV’s reality show, Rob&Big alongside his best friend and bodyguard, Christopher "Big Black" Boykin. Since 2011, he has hosted the TV show Ridiculousness.
