Bob Marley House: Jamaican Home

Bob Marley (born Robert Nesta Marley OM) was a singer from Jamaica that wrote some incredible music over his relatively short life. Furthermore, he pioneered reggae music from the start. Also, he fused elements of ska and rocksteady. He was born February 6th 1945 and sadly died of cancer in 1981 and the age of 36. was shot in the following home in 1981. Bob Marley had cancer that was under his toenail and refused to get the toe removed due to religious reasons and because it would effect his ability to perform. Instead, doctors removed just a section of the toe. Later on, as he was jogging in central park he collapsed and doctors found that he had cancer spreading throughout his body. The house has an unknown amount bedrooms and bathrooms over 2,000 square feet of space. The home has since been turned into a museum. You can enter for a fee of $25. Furthermore, the home is quite historic in many different ways.
