1. Take a walk or bike ride along the beautiful waterfront path.
One of the greatest things Annapolis is known for is its beautiful waterfront. There's a paved path that runs along the harbor, making for a lovely walk or bike ride. In addition to walking and bike riding, there's plenty to do around the bay including kayaking, fishing, and crabbing.
If you are traveling to Annapolis, we recommend staying in one of the numerous hotels on the waterfront and trying a few of the delicious restaurants in the surrounding area.
2. Visit the Maryland State House and learn about the state's history.
If you are interested in historical facts, you'll enjoy visiting the Maryland State House. It's the oldest state capital building still in legislative use and has housed many important meetings throughout history. If you're a fan of American history, this is definitely worth taking time out of your day to visit.
