The most popular domestic destinations for summer vacations this year are mostly familiar faces, according to a study released by TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site. The company's annual Travelers' Choice Awards were announced today, revealing the top five domestic summer vacation destinations 2022.
Italy

The Food
Italy is known for its food and wine. The country is proud of its regional cuisine... each region has its own specialties to offer. In addition, Italian food is rich in nutrition and flavor, making it one of the healthiest diets in the world.
The Weather
Summer is already here and the weather is perfect for a good holiday. Usually starting from mid-June, temperatures can easily rise up to 30 degrees Celsius (86 Fahrenheit), with plenty of suns and a refreshing sea breeze.

Mexico

3. The city of Monterrey has more skyscrapers than any other city in the world outside New York or Chicago.

The West Coast
The West Coast is a fairly well-known vacation destination for many Americans and international travelers. The West Coast consists of Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park, Banff, Las Vegas.
The unique thing about the West Coast includes the foods that consist of the area. Many of the restaurants have a local ingredient or cuisine that is unique to their area. For example, in Las Vegas, they are well known for their buffets. On the other hand, in Banff, they are well known for their beef which is raised locally.
The climate of the West Coast is generally moderate with warm summers and mild winters. In contrast, during the summer it may be very hot in Las Vegas, but it will be much cooler in Yellowstone National Park because it has a higher elevation than that of Las Vegas.
The wildlife in this area is also unique to this region such as bears, moose, deer, and elk that are commonly found roaming throughout most of these parks and surrounding areas. They can be seen at Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park.
The best time to travel to the West Coast would have to be between June and September which would provide you with optimal weather conditions while traveling through these areas as well as having more daylight hours available.
Thailand
Thailand is the place to travel in Southeast Asia.
