5.   Use Social Media for Promotion

You know a really great way to get more people to click on your video and then potentially like and follow? Share your content on other social media platforms. Instagram is hard because you can only share a snippet. But you can put that link in your bio for them to follow the whole thing!

But then you also have Facebook and Twitter that let you post links. Post links and use some sort of attention-grabbing headline to get people to want to see more. Don’t make it wordy. People love to watch videos, and when they can access a quality video from their Facebook newsfeed, it makes it so much easier for them.

This tells us that you should be actively trying to grow your other social media platforms as well. Then, you can use those platforms to reach the masses with your YouTube content. It’s a win-win!

6.   Just Keep Going

Our last tip is to just keep going. There are times you might get frustrated or discouraged. The top designer YouTube channels didn’t make it to the top overnight. It requires dedication and hard work to get there.

If you aren’t a big channel in two months, that doesn’t mean that you should throw in the towel. It means you should keep going. Look back from where you started and check out the analytics thus far. Has anything seemed to be working well?
