Who was Charley Pride?

Charley Pride was an American country singer. Furthermore, he is one of only three African-American members of the Grand Ole Opry. Along with DeFord Bailey and Darius Rucker. In 2000 Pride was inducted into the Country Music hall of fame. Additionally, he started playing guitar when he was 14 years old. Some of Pride’s notable songs include "Just Between You and Me", "I Can't Believe That You've Stopped Loving Me", and "Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'".  Sadly, in December of 2020, Pride passed away from complications related to COVID-19.
