Additionally, her birth name was Sarah Ophelia Colley Cannon. She remained working with Grand Oly Opre from 1940 to 1991. She continued working on the Hee Haw TV show from 1969 to 1991. In 1991 she suffered from a debilitating stroke that became the cause of her career-ending. Henry R. Cannon was her husband. Moreover, she had no children. She died on March 4, 1996.
