3. Commerce City

Commerce City ranks as the third most dangerous city in Colorado with a crime rate of 792 per 100,000 people. The majority of crimes committed in Commerce City are property crimes (4 443 per 1,000 residents), but there is still a significant number of violent crimes (363 per 1,000 residents).
4. Lakewood
Crime Rate: 717 per 100,000 people
Lakewood is the fourth most dangerous city in Colorado according to our findings. The overall crime rate here stands at 717 incidents per 100,000 citizens which puts it slightly below Commerce City and way below Aurora and Pueblo from the top 3. As for violent crime ,Lakewood‘s index is on par with Commerce City’s 363 cases per 100,000 inhabitants but when it comes to property related criminal activity, the numbers go up to 3,354 occurrences for every 100k residents
5. Thornton
Crime Rate: 696 per 100,000 citizens
Last but not least on our list of five is Thornton with its 696 reported criminal incidents for every group of 100,000 individuals living here. Much like Lakewood, Thornton experiences more property-related criminal activity (3,243 case) than violent ones (353).
