This private 3 day tour from Marrakech to fes to visit Merzouga and Fez and discover the Atlas mountains and the desert of Morocco from Marrakech and passing through the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate and the valleys of Dadès and Deraa to the chains of the Middle Atlas. Departing from your accommodation in Marrakech, this private excursion will take you through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260 m) to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate and the Dades Gorges. You will go through the road of a thousand Kasbahs to arrive at the splendid Toudra gorges, the valley of roses, the famous village of Kelaa de Mgouna to reach Merzouga and watch the sumptuous sunset on the back of camels at Erg Chebbi. After a comfortable night in your tent in the desert, you will watch the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga then cross the palm grove of Tafilalt and the town of Rissani. Then, you will head towards Midelt along the gorges of the Ziz Valley and the Anti-Atlas. Continue towards Azrou through the cedar forest. Finally, you will pass through Ifrane before arriving in Fez in the early evening.

Day 1: Marrakech Ait ben haddou – Dades Gorges

We depart from your hotel in Marrakech at 8:00 am. direction the city of Ouarzazate, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, known for their beautiful Berber villages and magnificent views. We will visit the Kasbah of Telaout, then we explore the Kasbah of Ait ben haddou with a local guide. This kasbah is known for the filming of international films. It was the meeting point of the South Sararian merchants. Then we continue to Ouarzazate, here we will stop to see the cinema studios and the Kasbah of Taourirt, from there we continue to Skoura where we will visit the Kasbah of Amridil. Then we continue to the Dades Gorges, we cross the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley with its almond trees, olive trees, roses and fig trees to the gorges where we will spend the night in a beautiful hotel with dinner.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga 

After a good breakfast, in our morocco tours we will visit the gorges on foot, and we will go to the desert of Merzouga, we will stop at Boumalne to enjoy a view of the magnificent Dades valley, then towards Tinghir and the Todra gorges. Lunch and continuation through the villages of Tinjdad and Jorf to Erfoud, where we will visit a marble and fossil museum. Then we cross a black rock plateau towards the village of Merzouga, where the dunes will appear, here your camel guide accompanies you to the bivouac between the highest dunes in Morocco. You will spend a night listening to Berber music, you will sleep under the stars in a nomadic tent.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Fez

After the sunrise show and breakfast, we will leave the dunes on camel back, we will reach the village of Merzouga. Then we will visit the large Rissani market and discover the mausoleum of Molay Ali Chrif, then cross Erachidia and the Ziz valley famous for these beautiful landscapes. We stop in Midelt for lunch, then we go to the largest cedar forest in Morocco, you have fun feeding the monkeys in the wild, and from there we continue to the city of Fez passing through the beautiful city of Ifrane. We will drop you off at the end of the day at your accommodation in Fez.
