Beatrix Potter was an English writer born in London, England, on July 28, 1866. Her full name was Helen Beatrix Potter, and she was best recognized as a great children's author and illustrator. She wrote over twenty children's tale books, including The Tale of Tom Kitten. Likewise, The Tale of Peter Rabbit is one of her most notable works that gave her immense popularity. Besides, this popular writer was also famous as a conservationist and natural scientist. She was married to a solicitor named William Heelis.
