The town’s Historic Downtown District is home to charming antique shops and boutique clothing stores, along with a variety of galleries and restaurants. The nine-story Ellis County Courthouse is also a must-see in Waxahachie.

If you're looking for a new and exciting way to explore the area, consider going on a hike & bike trail. You'll be able to get a workout, see beautiful views and enjoy all that Waxahachie has to offer.

The hike & bike trail runs alongside Waxahachie Creek, passes the Rodeo and Fairgrounds, Rogers Street Bridge and the Old City Cemetery. There are multiple parks along the route that have different amenities.

6. Go to Fritz Park Splash Pad

Splash pads are always fun for the entire family. They offer an ideal opportunity to dry off and enjoy a nice day in the sun.

Fritz Park is a beautiful community park located in Waxahachie. It features a playground and picnic areas surrounded by flowers and trees.

7. Go to the Arcade

Located in the historic Rogers Hotel, the Arcade is an excellent place to visit. Featuring more than 40 games, it's a great place to have fun with the family.

The Ellis County Courthouse, built in 1895, is one of the prettiest buildings in Texas. You can tour this impressive landmark for a fee.

8. Create Memories at Munster Mansion

For fans of the 1960s sitcom, the Munster Mansion is a must-see. Located in Waxahachie, Texas, this replica of the show's original home is perfect for creating memories.

This house was owned by Charles and Sandra McKee who built it as close to the show's original as possible. It has a grand staircase, a rotating suit of armor, trap doors, secret passages and more.

It also comes with a raven cuckoo clock and a crooked bat weather vane on the roof. It's one of the only houses in North America with all these unique features.
