There are two model train exhibits and a dock area where you can crank the siren on a restored 1925 fire engine. The museum is run by the Hernando Historical Museum Association.

The Depot was built in 1885 and is the first railroad station in Brooksville. Visitors can tour it for $5 or pay a small admission fee to enter the Countryman One Room schoolhouse next door.
