The museum includes a mastodon tusk unearthed in northwest Missouri, medals won by the Missouri Geological Survey at World's Fairs, and many other items that stimulate curiosity, inspire learning for the young and young-at-heart.
Learn more about earthquakes at the Ed Clark Museum of Missouri Geology, where a new interactive earthquake exhibit is available through Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS). Visitors can learn how plate tectonics form our Earth and what it takes to survive an earthquake in the state.

The Ozark Actors Theatre (OAT) is a non-profit, summer stock theatre based in Rolla. They offer shows that include comedies, dramas and musicals.
They also host fundraisers and events that involve the community. They serve as a cultural home and draw tourists from around the country to their shows.
OAT uses the Cedar Street Playhouse as a venue year round for performances, meetings and weddings. This year, they plan to raise enough money for Give Ozarks Day to help repair the building's exterior walls.
Fugitive Beach
If you’re looking for a place to go for a summer swim, you should check out Fugitive Beach in Rolla. This rock quarry turned water park is one of the most popular attractions in Missouri and offers a number of exciting activities.
It’s a fun spot for the whole family! It has a 60-foot waterslide, a sand beach, and a bar and grill.
