The free Show Low Museum is a must-visit for locals and visitors alike. It features 16 rooms that present the history of the city in a fun way.

1. Pintail Lake

If you love nature, Pintail Lake is a great place to spend some time. It is a beautiful spot for hiking, camping, fishing, boating and more.

The park is free to visit and it’s open year-round. It is a nice place for the entire family to enjoy.

It is also a great place to observe wildlife, including waterfowl, such as cinnamon teal, white-tailed eagle, snow egret and osprey. The park is paved with interpretive signs and wildlife information plaques.

The Allen Severson Memorial Wildlife Area consists of Pintail Lake and South Marsh, which was created using recycled wastewater to improve waterfowl nesting, feeding and resting habitats. The wetlands are a popular destination for duck hunters, as they attract migrating ducks from Canada and northern states.

2. White Mountain Family Fun Park

If you are looking for a fun day out with the family, White Mountain Family Fun Park is an excellent choice. It features go-kart tracks, laser maze, arcades & mini golf.

The best part is that it's located right in town! You won't need a car to get there, as it is easily accessible on foot or via the town bus.

The town also has two movie theaters and several horseback riding adventures to choose from. If you are into the outdoors, a stroll on the Tonto Natural Bridge is a must. Alternatively, you can try your luck at the local bowling rink or take a dip in the Show Low Indoor Aquatic Center. You will be glad you did. The list goes on and on.

3. Porter Mountain Stables

A must-try while visiting show low az, Porter Mountain Stables is a staple in the White Mountains community that goes above and beyond to offer visitors a memorable experience. Named the #1 equestrian adventure in the White Mountain area for multiple years, this establishment offers an impressive array of amenities that will make your trip to Arizona a memorable one.

When you’re done frolicking on the trails, you can take a dip in the local lakes, check out the local museums and more! Be sure to stop by Bertie’s Cafe and Bar for a drink and some delicious eats before heading out on your merry way. It’s all about the little things that make for a great vacation! 4. Lazy Bear Decor

If you are looking for some unique souvenirs or gifts, Lazy Bear Decor is a great place to go. It is a small gift shop that has a lot of interesting artifacts and rustic home decor. Some people compare it to a museum, so it is definitely worth visiting. They also sell themed products like elks, deers, and bears that are based on the local area.

Show Low, AZ is a small town that is very popular for its natural beauty and outdoor activities. You can eat at various restaurants, hike the Show Low Bluff Trail, and shop for unusual items at Lazy Bear Decor among other things. 5. Books N Treasures

Books N Treasures is a unique bookstore with soft curves and murals, interesting nooks filled with books, gifts and more. A popular meeting place for friends, the store features contemporary fiction, signed first editions and modern non-fiction titles.

Tastes & Treasures, Volume II, is the latest installment of the Arizona-themed storytelling cookbook series, featuring southwestern recipes from 24 historic venues across the state. With colorful stories and photos of these beloved food enterprises and buildings 50 years old or older, the book takes a stroll through the Copper State’s culinary history.

In addition to the stories, the book includes contributions from Arizona Historymakers such as Barry Goldwater, Rose Mofford and John Rhodes. Their memories and family recipes add a wonderful layer of Arizona heritage to this lively souvenir of the Southwest.
