The McFaddin-Ward house is a gorgeous historic home built amazingly in the classical revival style. This grand and magnificent home was constructed in 1906. Furthermore, the super fantastic estate, whose architect was Henry Conrad Mauer, sits on many acres of the lot. Di Vernon Averill decided to construct this impressive home. Later, it was sold to William P. H. McFaddin. William P.H. McFaddin, with his wife, started living here in 1907. The couple had three kids. Their names were James Caldwell, Mamie, and Perry Jr. One of their daughter Mamie was the wife of Carroll Ward. So, Mamie McFaddin Ward with her family resided here after the marriage as well. The house has more than three bedrooms and two bathrooms with over 12,800 square feet of space. It's an enchanting historic site that looks wonderful. Furthermore, this gorgeous home shows the unique lifestyle of that particular family who spent the special moments of their life here. Moreover, this museum displays real furnishings.
