The show’s creator, Taylor Sheridan, is coming back to Fort Worth this fall to film his latest spinoff, 1883: Bass Reeves. The six-part series will revolve around the titular frontier lawman, who was a former slave and became a U.S. deputy marshal in 1875, apprehending 3,000 criminals over a 32-year career.
