where is michelles season filmed

While previous COVID-19-era seasons filmed at only one resort, ABC's Michelle Young season was able to film in multiple locations. Throughout the course of her season, the show filmed at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, California; the Marquette Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Punta Mita, Mexico.

The Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa

The first location Michelle's season was filmed at was the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, which is near Palm Springs in California. It's a gorgeous desert paradise that has farm-to-table food, pools, golf courses and more.

The resort offers 560 rooms that feature pillowtop beds, premium bedding and private balconies. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi, wake-up calls, daily housekeeping and a full service spa.

There are 5 on-site restaurants that include CAVA, a breakfast and lunch spot serving Californian specialties in a lovely outdoor setting. The hotel also features a fitness center, on-site golf and meeting space.

The hotel has a large pool that's a water paradise with a sandy beach area and jacuzzis for adults to soak in. It also has a restaurant and bar where guests can dine and enjoy a drink in the evening.

Joshua Tree National Park

One of the most popular and eye-catching filming locations for The Bachelorette is Joshua Tree National Park. It's a desert wonderland that features giant boulder piles, colorful cactus fields, and one-of-a-kind Joshua trees.

The park is also home to numerous visitor centers, which make it a great place to begin your explorations of the park. You can find them in the village of Joshua Tree, in Twentynine Palms and near the south entrance to the park.

It's also a top choice for amateur stargazing, thanks to its low light pollution and dry desert air. You can even take part in a Night Sky Festival. You'll want to bring a good pair of binoculars.

The Marquette Hotel in Minneapolis

The Marquette Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton is a upper-middle-range Hilton property connected to the IDS Center and located in downtown Minneapolis. It has 282 rooms and a 24-hour fitness center.

After filming in Palm Springs, Michelle Young brought her remaining men back to her home state of Minnesota for a few weeks. Her cast explored Minneapolis's urban sites, including the Stone Arch Bridge and U.S. Bank Stadium, as well as Wayzata Beach on Lake Minnetonka.

She also went on a date at Target Field for the Twins vs. Rays game, as well as one at her parents' house and another on Lake Minnetonka.

This season of The Bachelorette has finally allowed fans to explore new locations outside of pools, hotel lobbies and spas after the COVID-19 pandemic put an end to Clare/Tayshia and Katie's seasons. With so many new and beautiful places to choose from, the show's filming crew found plenty of opportunities for romance in Minnesota.

Punta Mita

Punta Mita is a private peninsula on Banderas Bay, Mexico. It's home to upscale resorts and villas, beaches and golf courses.

This luxury beach destination is a favorite for world-class travelers. Its master-planned community is surrounded by water on three sides, creating a sense of privacy.

Unlike recent seasons, which were limited to one location due to the coronavirus pandemic, Michelle's season has the opportunity to film in multiple locations. ABC and Young worked with her schedule to make sure she wasn't missing too much school time during the filming process.

Throughout the course of the season, Michelle will visit her contestants' hometowns and film scenes at places like the Stone Arch Bridge, Target Field, Semple Mansion, and Lake Minnetonka. In addition, she'll be staying in Minnesota at the Marquette Hotel until she finally makes her way to Punta Mita for overnights and the final rose ceremony.
