where is superstore filmed

If you’re a fan of NBC’s sitcom Superstore, you probably know that the show takes place in a fictional big-box store called Cloud 9.

However, did you know that the show is actually filmed at Universal Studios?

To film the show, the production team lightly remodeled a Kmart store. They used the space for 16 days and put up notices telling customers that they were shooting there.

Universal Studios

Located in Southern California, Universal Studios is a theme park that gives guests a behind-the-scenes look at Hollywood. You can experience world-class rides amped up with dizzying special effects, and immerse yourself in real and virtual film sets.

This park is great for families with young children because it has plenty of kid friendly attractions that don’t require much height requirement. The Springfield: Home of the Simpsons ride is one of those rides.

There’s also a cool water play area that is perfect for kids to soak up some of their energy. Plus, the area is full of space to spread out and relax while you’re enjoying a hot day at the park!

If you’re a fan of the NBC sitcom Superstore, you’ll love that it was filmed at Universal Studios. The show’s set is a three-storey Cloud 9 store that was created specifically for the show.

NBC's sitcom Superstore, which aired between 2015 and 2021, featured an on again/off again love story between Jonah (Ben Feldman) and Amy (America Ferrera). The series was filmed in several stages at Universal Studios Hollywood, including a three-story set that resembled a big-box store.

The cast of Superstore was made up of a ragtag group of employees, including the stalwart Amy, sardonic Glenn, idealist Jonah and aspiring manager Garrett. Their wacky personalities make them a fun and hilarious ensemble.

One of the things that helped make Superstore feel like a real-world store is its policies and uniforms. Blue vests, 15-minute lunch breaks and bathroom break caps are just a few of the things that help to create a sense of reality for the show's characters.

The cast also includes several characters who are undocumented immigrants, such as Mateo (Nico Santos), a sales associate. He struggles with keeping his status a secret but is finally arrested by ICE in season four.

San Francisco

The NBC workplace comedy Superstore was created by one of the producers of the hit series The Office. It stars Ben Feldman and America Ferrera as naive new hire Jonah and jaded veteran Amy, respectively.

The show’s premise revolves around the daily life of employees at Cloud 9 — a big-box store where they have to work together for long hours. Some of the characters are cranky and weird, but their interactions with each other make them a reluctant family.

They may not get along very well with their boss (Mark McKinney’s Glenn), but they all do their jobs as best they can. This group of misfits keeps viewers laughing, and their chemistry is the show’s strongest strength.

This sitcom isn’t just a comedy about people working menial retail jobs in 2019. It’s a show about how the working class survives in 2019 by surviving the world of late capitalism.

New York

If you have ever watched an episode of Superstore, then you know that it is filmed inside a big-box store. The show uses a lot of recognizable brands throughout the store which is a good way to make the show look authentic.

While it might not be the most edgy comedy out there, Superstore does try to address social issues that are important in our society today. The show has dealt with things like unionization, immigration and gun control.

The show also features a variety of different cultural and ethnic groups which is a great way to show how America is truly multi-cultural. The show also shows how racial discrimination can affect people from all walks of life.

Superstore is one of the best network TV comedies out there and should be given more attention. It is a great example of how a show should be made, and it is definitely worth watching.
