where is the kelly clarkson show filmed

"The Kelly Clarkson Show" is a fun, uplifting daytime destination for heart and connection. It features celebrity interviews, panel discussions and Clarkson's love for music.

Filmed at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, the talk show typically airs weekdays at 9:30 or 1:30 p.m. Tickets are available for tapings.

Universal Studios

Universal Studios Hollywood, which covers over 400 acres of the Los Angeles metro area, offers a behind-the-scenes peek into the world of Hollywood and the studios that create its blockbusters. From world-class action rides to immersive lands, you’ll experience what it’s like to be inside the world of your favorite movies and television shows.

Guests can also visit The Secret Life of Pets, a movie-inspired attraction where you’ll get to explore the homes and lives of Max and Duke the pets from the hit animated film. There are many other experiences to explore in this fun and exciting area of the park as well.

The Kelly Clarkson show is filmed at Universal Studios in California and is taped in front of a live studio audience. If you want to attend a taping, you can apply for free tickets ahead of time.

New York City

The Kelly Clarkson Show is filmed in the heart of New York City, in a building called Jazz at Lincoln Center. The show has reportedly been filming in the city since Season 3, though production is still in the early stages of deciding where to move it long-term, according to Variety.

As for why the talk show is reportedly exploring an East Coast move, a production staffer explains that it could offer the ability to “elevate and evolve” the show, as well as get better tax incentives if it moved out of California. It would also bring the superstar closer to her family, a source adds.

In addition to hosting her own daytime talk show, the singer has also been a judge on NBC’s The Voice for seasons 14-21 and will be back in the spin chair this fall with Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper as coaches. Should the talk show move to the East Coast, NBC is said to be working out scheduling scenarios that could allow the singer to stay in the role of coach on the singing competition series as well, if she wishes.

Montana

Montana is known as Big Sky Country for a reason: It has a huge variety of wide-open spaces and skies that stretch to the horizon. From the mountains to lakes, this western state is a prime destination for tourists and locals alike.

The state is home to many national parks, including Glacier and Yellowstone. It's also known for its diverse habitat, which is home to grizzly bears, white pelicans, golden eagles, moose, elk and buffaloes.

While Kelly Clarkson usually spends her time between Nashville and Los Angeles, she is currently based out of a rustic ranch in Montana with her husband, Brandon Blackstock, their kids, River and Remi, as well as her stepson, Savannah.

The singer purchased the 14-acre property back in 2019 for $10.4 million. It features several horse runs as well as a large 1-room cabin that's perfect for family getaways. It also has an oversized photo of Dolly Parton that's displayed on one wall, making it feel that much more like a home.

Los Angeles

The Kelly Clarkson show has been filmed in Los Angeles, California since it first premiered in 2019. However, the talk show could be moving to the east coast for season 5.

According to Variety, producers of the talk show are looking into a move to the New York Metro Tri-State area. This move would not only bring Kelly Clarkson closer to her family, but it could also be a chance for the show to continue to elevate and evolve, a production staffer tells Variety.

Currently, The Kelly Clarkson Show airs on NBC and is ranked among the top three daytime syndicated shows in daily viewership growth. It has been growing in key demos for three consecutive seasons and is averaging 1.3 million daily viewers to date, per NBCUniversal.

The show is already renewed through 2025, and producers are said to be hoping to keep as many of the show’s production staffers and crew on board as possible. This would allow the show to maintain consistency, especially with those who have been on the show from the start.
