where is the resident filmed

If you’re a fan of gripping medical drama, then you must be familiar with the addictive series, The Resident. It is currently airing on Fox TV network.

It is a critically acclaimed series, depicting the lives of doctors and other staff members at Chastain Park Memorial Hospital. However, it has been criticized by the medical community for its dark portrayal of the medical industry.

Chastain Memorial Hospital

When it comes to medical dramas, the hospitals in which they take place can often be as integral as their characters. It's where days bleed into nights, where relationships are forged and where lives are saved or lost.

The Resident, a medical drama series on Fox, explores the lives and duties of staff members at Chastain Memorial Hospital while examining the bureaucratic practices within the healthcare industry. It's based on a book by Marty Makary and stars Matt Czuchry as Conrad Hawkins, a senior resident internist at the fictional hospital.

The show also features Emily VanCamp as Nicolette “Nic” Nevin, Conrad’s wife and mother of his daughter, Georgiana Grace “Gigi” Nevin Hawkins. Manish Dayal plays Devon Pravesh, a second-year resident internist and Conrad’s partner.

The High Museum of Art

The High Museum of Art is located in Midtown Atlanta and is one of the Southeast’s most prominent museums. It houses an extensive collection of historic and contemporary art, special exhibitions, and celebrated architecture designed by Richard Meier and Renzo Piano.

The museum’s permanent collection encompasses a wide range of historical periods and styles, ranging from nineteenth-century American painting to the modern art movement. It also has a strong focus on southern art, including a significant collection of work by folk and self-taught artists.

In 2005, the institution underwent a major expansion that doubled its size to 312,000 square feet. The new buildings, designed by Renzo Piano, melded with the original Meier structure and the Memorial Arts Center to form a European-style piazza. It also provides the museum with additional exhibition space and administrative offices.

The Pointe Bar

If you're in the mood for a good old-fashioned BBQ, then The Pointe Bar is your go-to place. It's located on 939 Railroad Street in Conyers, Georgia, where the fictional Wayton's Bar B Q is filmed!

The Pointe Bar also features a small restaurant. The menu includes steak sandwiches, chicken enchiladas, and pizza.

There are also a few different types of cocktails, beer and wine. It's a great spot to go for dinner or drinks with friends.

While the majority of The Resident is filmed in and around Atlanta, there are also some locations outside the city that have appeared on the show. The bike race that was featured in episode three was filmed at Georgia International Horse Park, while the wedding from season four was shot at 9 Oaks Farm in Monroe, Georgia.

While it's not a huge location, the Pointe Bar is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. The food is tasty and the staff is super friendly!

9 Oaks Farm

If you're planning a wedding or other special occasion, you'll want to consider this rustic venue in Good Hope, Georgia. 9 Oaks Farm features an authentic 1900's dairy barn and multiple unique outdoor ceremony locations. This venue can accommodate up to 250 guests with an indoor reception and 300+ with an outdoor event.

For those of you looking for the best wedding spot in town, you've come to the right place! Not only is this site a wedding hotspot, it's also a great spot to see the Atlanta skyline. In fact, the city's skyline has been a mainstay on the show since the start. You might even catch a glimpse of the elusive resident himself. If you're lucky, you'll also get to check out the equestrian marvel that is Knots Landing! It's a great way to spend a day out with the family before the big day and it's a definite must-see for any true Atlanta native.
