where is too hot to handle filmed

The reality dating show Too Hot to Handle is back with a new batch of singles. They’ll be learning to follow all-seeing Lana’s rules and abstain from sexual contact for the duration of the show.

The contestants will be staying in a luxurious villa against the backdrop of the Caribbean sea. But where is it?

Punta Mita

Located on the northern tip of Banderas Bay, Punta Mita is a private peninsula that is home to some of Mexico's most upscale resorts. The peninsula is surrounded on three sides by crystalline water and nine miles of pristine coastline.

It’s a paradise for those who want to relax and unwind in an upscale location. It also boasts a number of quaint boutiques and delicious restaurants that are perfect for a night out in town.

The first season of Too Hot to Handle was filmed in Punta Mita, but for season two and three the show switched things up and moved it to Turks and Caicos. The gorgeous island is a common and exotic holiday destination for the rich and famous.

During season 3, the cast stayed at Turtle Tail Estate, a stunning vacation villa that is also available to rent. This location is said to cost PS8000 a night, so you'll have to be ready to shell out some serious cash if you're looking to party THTH style.

Turks and Caicos

The Turks and Caicos Islands are an archipelago of eight inhabited islands, the largest of which is Providenciales. This British Overseas Territory is located 575 miles southeast of Miami, Florida and south of the Bahamas.

The islands are well known for their white sand beaches and crystal clear water. They are also popular for aquatic sports like sailing, game fishing and scuba diving among the coral reefs.

For many people, the Turks and Caicos Islands are a paradise to escape reality. That's why they were chosen as the location for Netflix's dating series, Too Hot To Handle.

Seasons 2 and 3 of the show were filmed on the island of Providenciales at a villa called Turtle Tail Estates, which is situated on a private 4.57-acre peninsula. It features five bedrooms, a movie theatre and an in-house private chef.

In 2021, it was reported that this location was open to anyone who wanted to stay there, so fans might be able to visit the island for themselves if they can afford the price.

Los Cabos

Los Cabos is one of Mexico's top destinations for a tropical getaway. This popular destination combines desert landscapes with pristine beaches and a variety of sports, including sport fishing.

The climate in Los Cabos is tropical and warm year-round. The rainy season is short and the winter months are mild.

During wintertime, the average temperature is in the mid 70s with sunny skies and minimal humidity. This is a good time to go to Los Cabos because it's not too hot or too cold, but it does get a bit chilly in the evenings.

Summer is a popular time to visit Los Cabos as well, but the weather can get muy caliente (hot). August is the highest temperature of the year, and it's also the hottest month with high humidity.

A few things to do while you're in Cabo are beaching, snorkeling and scuba diving. Surfing is another fun activity, and you can find plenty of swell in July and early August.

Mexico City

Mexico City is home to a lot of attractions and cultural landmarks, so it's always buzzing with activity. But if you're planning a visit, be sure to consider the weather and how it affects your trip.

During the summer, Mexico City can get pretty hot. The average high temperature reaches 77 degF, and it can get quite warm during the evenings too.

But luckily, it's relatively drier than many other cities in the region. The weather tends to be a bit cooler during the winter, with daily low temperatures ranging from 45 degF to 71 degF.

The city's streets are lined with markets and food stalls, where you can find any type of cuisine you could dream up. Try the local street foods, which are incredibly delicious and very affordable!
