In the third season of the hit psychological thriller, Joe and Love have a baby and decide to move away from New York and Los Angeles. They move to a soulless wealthy suburb outside of San Francisco called Madre Linda, a place they describe as a "perfect little town with good schools."
There are a few locations you can visit in and around Van Nuys that were used for filming. The home where Joe and Love live was filmed at 6301 Orion Avenue in Van Nuys, as well as the library where Joe volunteers to work.
Several other scenes in the show were filmed at Paladio Furniture, a real store located at 6732 Van Nuys Boulevard. The interiors of the building as well as its rooftop were used for filming.

Another famous location spotted in You is the Millennium Biltmore hotel. It was a popular stand-in for the Mad Men hotel. Other restaurants that have been featured in You include Musso & Frank Grill, which was used to film the diner scene where Don meets Bobbie Barrett for lunch.

The idyllic setting paints a picture of calm suburban bliss, and despite its appearance, serial killers Joe & Love are terrorizing the area.
The fictional neighborhood is based on the Silicon Valley-adjacent suburbs in Northern California, which are known for being affluent enclaves populated by tech founders and mommy bloggers. However, the town doesn’t actually exist and was created specifically for You season 3.
