Devin Booker is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA. He was born on October 30, 1996, in Michigan, and was drafted as the 13th overall pick by the Phoenix Suns in the 2015 NBA draft. Booker is a shooting guard known for his scoring ability, particularly his three-point shooting, and has become one of the league's top young players. In 2021, he was selected to his first NBA All-Star Game and helped lead the Phoenix Suns to their first NBA Finals appearance since 1993. Booker is considered a rising star in the NBA and is widely regarded as one of the best shooting guards in the league. As Booker himself once said, “All teams need good shooters. Booker purchased this modern desert oasis at the end of 2019 for $8.5 million. It’s located in the Indian Bend neighborhood of Paradise Valley, AZ. The exterior definitely gives off desert vibes, with a large concrete driveway and flower beds that sit in gray stones instead of soil. Despite the traditional desert landscape, you also have gorgeous views of Camelback mountain at every turn. Never having been to the desert myself, when I imagine a desert home, this is not the home I picture. It’s breathtaking, calming, and expertly designed by Clements Design.
Growing up in Michigan, I’m sure Booker enjoys soaking up the Arizona heat and sunshine, which is why his home is full of indoor-outdoor living. His living room is completely open to the outdoors, where he also has a huge outdoor living space. With views like his, I don’t blame him for wanting access 100% of the time. In fact, his backyard is mostly his pool. What a life.

Where Does Devin Booker Live?

A lot of homes in warmer climates come equipped with a pool. However, I’m not sure many come with a pool like Bookers. To put it mildly, it’s huge. It makes up most of the backyard space. It is divided up in sections by large white concrete steps, as well as a wooden walkway. There is a large square hot tub there as well, which is great for cooler nights when the sun sets. Lounge chairs line the pool, both inside and out, perfect for relaxing. There is even a fireplace in a covered outdoor living area. In the backyard Booker also has a two bedroom, two bathroom guesthouse that he has completely converted into a game room. As well as a music studio where he and his friends can listen to, as well as play music.

The living room perfectly flows into the backyard. It’s almost as if you don’t even know where the inside ends and the outside begins. Recessed lighting, white walls accented with modern wood paneling, and an open fireplace top off the modern and cozy vibe. Above the fireplace, an oversized flatscreen TV sits nicely mounted to the wall.

Off of the living room, you have the kitchen. The kitchen is 100% mid-century modern, and it’s fabulous. The white marble center island is a large rectangle, with wooden drawers, and a gold sink. The style of the island carries through to every aspect of the kitchen. From the wide, double door refrigerator that looks more like an armoire, to the gold handles on every appliance. This is a kitchen Don Draper himself would love!

Booker’s bedroom is decorated in soft grays, whites, and blacks. He has a short black cushion headboard, outlined in black wooden trim. Above the headboard there are two small black light fixtures, on each side of the bed. The ensuite contains a large glass door leading into the shower, with a bench inside. His bedroom is modest and comfortable. One of the spare bedrooms is a bit more glamorous. One wall is made up of floor to ceiling glass, with a door that leads right out to the marvelous pool area. With a much taller, plush headboard surrounded by hanging glass light fixtures.

Devin Booker’s Paradise Valley home is a mid-century modern lover's dream. The simple color scheme, gold accents, and light wood details create a peaceful space. While the pool outside creates a summer fun vibe that I wish I was invited to.
