Diablo 4's itemization system will also feature an expanded crafting system

One of the most significant changes coming to Diablo 4 is the updated skill and talent system. Unlike previous Diablo games, where players would unlock new skills as they leveled up, Diablo 4 will feature a skill tree that allows players to customize their characters in a more nuanced way. Each class will have its own skill tree, with different branches for offensive, defensive, and utility skills. Players will earn skill points as they level up and can spend them on unlocking new skills or upgrading existing ones. In addition to the skill tree, Diablo 4 will also feature a talent system that allows players to further specialize their characters. Talents are more powerful abilities that are unlocked as players progress through the skill tree, and can drastically change how a character plays. For example, a Barbarian could choose a talent that allows them to dual-wield two-handed weapons, while a Sorceress could choose a talent that gives them an increased critical hit chance when casting spells.

Another major change coming to Diablo 4 is the open-world system. Unlike previous Diablo games, which were comprised of linear levels, Diablo 4 will feature a large, interconnected world that players can explore at their own pace. The world will be split into different regions, each with its own unique environments and storylines. Players will be able to travel between regions via waypoints or on foot, encountering other players along the way. The Diablo 4 Boost system also means that there will be more emphasis on exploration and discovery in Diablo 4. Players will be able to find hidden dungeons, rare loot, and other secrets scattered throughout the world. There will also be world events that players can participate in, such as defending a town from a demon invasion or completing a timed challenge in a specific region.

Itemization has always been a core part of the Diablo experience, and Diablo 4 will be no exception. However, there are some significant changes coming to the itemization system in Diablo 4. First, there will be more item slots than in previous games, with separate slots for weapons, armor, jewelry, and other equipment. This will allow for more variety in character builds and playstyles. Second, Diablo 4 will feature a new rarity tier above Legendary, called Mythic. Mythic items will be incredibly rare and powerful, with unique effects that can drastically change how a character plays. Third, items will be more customizable in Diablo 4. Players will be able to add runes and gems to their equipment, which will give them additional stats or bonuses. Finally, there will be more ways to acquire items in Diablo 4. Players will be able to earn items through quests, monster drops, crafting, and even trading with other players. The increased emphasis on itemization means that players will have more control over how their characters play and will be able to fine-tune their builds to suit their playstyle.

Diablo 4's itemization system will also feature an expanded crafting system, which will allow players to create and upgrade their own items. In previous Diablo games, crafting was limited to creating basic potions and scrolls. However, in Diablo 4, players will be able to craft a wide variety of items, including weapons, armor, and jewelry. Crafting will require specific materials and recipes, which can be found throughout the game world or purchased from vendors.

Crafting will also be more dynamic in Diablo 4. Items crafted by players will be influenced by the player's character level and the quality of the crafting materials used. As a result, players will be able to create powerful items that are tailored to their specific character build.

In addition to crafting, Diablo 4 will also feature a trading system that allows players to buy and sell cheap Diablo 4 items with other players. This system will be facilitated through an auction house, which will allow players to list items for sale and browse items posted by other players. The auction house will also have a search function that allows players to filter items by specific attributes, such as rarity, item type, or level requirement.

The trading system in Diablo 4 will be more regulated than in previous games, with a focus on preventing cheating and exploiting. Items listed for sale will be subject to a fee, which is designed to discourage players from listing low-quality items or items that have been obtained through cheating. Additionally, there will be limits on the number of items that players can list at any given time, which will prevent players from flooding the market with too many items.

Overall, Diablo 4's itemization system will be more diverse, customizable, and player-driven than in previous games. With more ways to acquire, craft, and trade items, players will have greater control over their character's equipment and playstyle.
