Dwyane Wade is a retired professional basketball player who is widely regarded as one of the greatest shooting guards in NBA history. Born in Chicago in 1982, Wade played college basketball at Marquette University before being selected fifth overall by the Miami Heat in the 2003 NBA draft. He spent the majority of his career with the Heat, leading them to three NBA championships and earning Finals MVP honors in 2006. Wade was a 13-time NBA All-Star, an eight-time member of the All-NBA team, and a three-time member of the All-Defensive team. He retired from the NBA in 2019 with career averages of 22.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. “You’ve got to respect the game and you’ve got to respect what the people that have played have done for the game.” It’s safe to say that Wade himself is one who has done tremendous things for the game. Dwyane Wade shares this brand new mansion with his gorgeous wife, actress Gabrielle Union, and their family. It was built in 2018, and the couple moved into the $17.9 million home in 2020. Not much is known about the home, other than it is pretty glorious. It is an architect's dream, with many twists and turns. The exterior boasts a large circular motorway, complete with tall hedges, lush bushes, and a mixture of lavender plants. The same type of foliage also surrounds the backyard as well.
“I always remind my kids that hard work pays off. That's how I got to where I am right now because of sacrifice and the work that I put into it.” If this home is anything to show for it, it seems that Dwyane Wade has indeed worked hard, and it has paid off. I love how he instills this philosophy in his children as well. I can only imagine what it must be like to grow up in this type of home and lifestyle. Although it seems that he and Gabrielle like to keep their kids grounded, and motivated to work hard themselves.

Where Does Dwyane Wade Live?

I think what stands out to me the most about this home is the kitchen. The unique way that the home is built, the kitchen almost looks as though it's outside. The angles give off an optical illusion of sorts. The many, large windows, recessed lighting, and glossy white marble cause the flow of light to really illuminate the space. There are two kitchen islands, both with a full sink. A built-in coffee station sits next to the marbled double door refrigerator. Other than white marble, there are also light wooden accents, which give off an incredible modern feel. I just love this kitchen! I would be afraid to actually cook anything though, for fear of making a mess!

White walls, light wooden accents, and recessed lighting are themes that carry through the whole house. The center of the home holds a spiral staircase, made up of fresh, lightly colored wood. At the top of the stairs there is a really cool circular skylight as well. I just love how much this home enables natural light to shine through in every space.

Let's talk about the main bedroom ensuite. Just like everything else in this home design, it’s pretty amazing. Of course, there is recessed lighting, and lots of natural lighting. There is also a large walk-in shower with two rainfall showerheads. A large white marble soaking tub also sits off to the side in this relaxing bathroom.

Dwyane and Gabrielle’s Hidden Hills home is one of my favorites. The whole vibe from the inside out is calming, peaceful, as well as extravagant and truly mesmerizing. I love this couple, and the family that they have created together. I think that their home is a reflection upon them. Beautiful and incredible.
