Draymond Green House: Classic Brentwood Mansion

May 18, 2023

Draymond Green is a professional basketball player, who plays for the Golden State Warriors as a power forward. He was born in Saginaw, MI on March 4th, 1990, and played college basketball at Michigan State. After college, he was drafted 35th overall by the Warriors in 2012. "I'm blessed. I get to play the game I love for a living and make a lot of money doing it." With a net worth of about $60 million, It’s safe to say he’s not lying about that.

Draymond helped Team USA win the gold medal in Rio during the 2016 U.S. Olympics. He was also chosen to compete in Tokyo during the 2020 Olympics, although due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was postponed until 2021. During this time, he helped Team USA win the gold medal. "Every year I strive to be the best defensive player in the league." It’s safe to say he’s on the right track.

Draymond's home is a classic Georgian Colonial mansion. Not only is the home itself impressive, there is also a large guesthouse on the property as well. As well as an outdoor kitchen, fireplace, and swimming pool. The interior of the main house features soaring ceilings, Spanish marble floors, a movie theatre, and a library. Two of the bedrooms include large balconies that overlook the amazing backyard. With views of the pool, patio, guesthouse, and the amazing outdoor stone fireplace. I can only imagine the summer parties in this place. "What's my status? I'm just a guy from Saginaw, Michigan, trying to make it. But you know, pretty nice crib." I'd have to agree with Draymond, pretty nice crib indeed.

Classic Hedges & Pillars: The Exterior

The front of this home has beautiful curb appeal. Perfectly trimmed hedges line the fence, as well as a quaint little gate. It's painted a crisp white color, with two classic white pillars on each side of the front door. Above the front door is a balcony that overlooks the front, and honestly, looks as if a King and Queen should be standing there waving.

The living room has Smoked European hardwood oak flooring throughout the entirety. Followed above by recessed lighting and cream white walls. It is completely open to the back patio by matte black French doors.

The same oak flooring carries into the oversized and open kitchen. As well as the same ceiling texture and recessed lighting. In the middle of the kitchen sits a black island with white marble countertop. The center island is large enough to hold its own sink, and seat a family comfortably for dinner. Unique lighting fixtures, and a candle lit chandelier hang from above. There is also a double oven, many storage cabinets, and ample amounts of windows to allow natural light to flow in.

I love this backyard. Although it doesn't seem intimidatingly large, it has everything you need. Besides the amazing guesthouse that sits directly behind the pool, there is also a large patio. As well as an outdoor kitchen, and a cozy space by the fireplace to sit and relax.
