Ryan Reynolds is a Canadian actor, producer, and entrepreneur. He was born in Vancouver in 1976 and began his career in the entertainment industry in the early 1990s. Reynolds has appeared in a wide range of films, from romantic comedies like "The Proposal" to action-packed superhero movies like "Deadpool’’. He is known for his quick wit and self-deprecating humor, which have endeared him to fans all over the world. In addition to his work on the big screen, Reynolds has also become a successful entrepreneur, with ventures in the alcohol and wireless industries. He is married to actress Blake Lively and the couple have three children together. “Being a Dad isn’t just about eating a huge bag of gummy-bears as your wife gives birth. It means being comfortable with the word hero.” There’s that famous wit that we all know and love.

In 2012 Ryan and Blake purchased an old Colonial home built in 1860. It was last updated in 2005 and cost about $5 million. Despite Reynold's outspoken humor, he and Blake are actually quite private about their personal lives. In fact, there are hardly any photos of the inside of their home. Every now and then you catch a glimpse via an in-home interview. What we do know is that the home sits on 11,65 acres, and is 5,031 sq ft. Because Blake loves to cook, and bake in particular, Ryan lovingly calls their kitchen the 'Blakery.' They also have a huge custom built outdoor pizza oven.

This aerial shot shows just how large their home really is. It sits right off a main road, behind a private gate. Once you enter the gate you drive down a long, winding road until you get to the massive home. Being in this area, you are surrounded by lush, rolling lawns and numerous overgrown trees. I can only imagine how this looks during the fall time. You can even notice the large ground pool in the back.

This rustic wooden gate sits at the end of the paved driveway. Even without the gate, it’s impossible to catch a glimpse of the home due to the overgrown foliage. A privacy perk I’m sure that Ryan and Blake appreciate. We do know though, that there are a total of 15 rooms through this two story home, including a finished basement and four fireplaces. Perfect for the freezing New York winters.
