Ever wonder what a billionaire’s home looks like? For one thing, it has its own name, Xanadu 2.0, and it's built into a mountain overlooking Lake Washington. The home was built in 1994 and is 48,160 sq ft and features seven bedrooms and 24 bathrooms. As well as six different kitchens, an underground cave which is used as a 10-car garage, and an aquarium that houses various sea creatures such as dolphins, whales, and sharks. There is also a 60 ft swimming pool with an underwater music system, a 2,500 sq ft gym, and a 1,000 sq ft dining room. The whole home was designed by architect James Cutler, and is completely eco-friendly.

Lodging In A Mountain: The Exterior
This crazy expensive mansion looks like a lodge in the woods. It is built inside of a mountain, with amazing various trees, hedges, flowers, and plants surrounding the whole place. It sits right on Lake Washington, which is great because the home is covered in windows that make for a great view.

When you hear that some people have an aquarium in their home, I'm sure this isn't what you quite pictured. This floor to ceiling aquarium fills up the whole room, and is massive enough that it is comfortably able to house whales, dolphins, sharks, and other sea creatures. Somehow, Gates is able to make it so that all of these giant creatures live there in harmony together.

I think this is the room in this massive mansion that I would spend the most time in. Although, the home also has a trampoline room, so that's hard to say. The library is a dome shaped library decorated in warm tan browns and dark greens. The coolest thing about it, is that it also has two secret bookcases, just like the movies. One of the secret bookcases leads to a secret bar as well.

Bill Gates also has a 20 person home movie theatre. Purple velvet cushioned seating and recessed lighting, as well as iconic artwork on the walls makes this theatre not only cool, but comfy as well.
I can’t even imagine what it would be like to spend just one day in this home. From the views, both inside and outside, there is not one thing to hate about this home. If you enjoyed checking out Bill Gates’ home, you can also check out his private yacht here.
