Everyone knows who Taylor Swift is. Whether you want to or not, you know at least two of her songs, and at least two of her exes. She’s everywhere, especially now that she’s currently on her Eras tour, you can’t help but hear about her. Her early hits include "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", with later hits such as "Shake It Off" and "Bad Blood". In 2020, Netflix released a documentary about Swift, entitled Miss Americana. " All you need to do to be my friend is like me." If that were true, it seems Taylor has millions of friends all over the world.

Taylor Swift has an immense real estate portfolio. From her Rhode Island beachfront mansion, to her penthouse in New York City, to her Beverly Hills pad, and everywhere in between. However, there has been a long running rumor that she also owns a long abandoned mansion in Nashville as well. As the story goes, Taylor purchased a massive brick mansion for her parents in 2011. However, when her parents quietly divorced that same year, she stopped renovations on the estate and hasn't touched it since. Taylor, nor her parents have ever confirmed nor denied the story, and there isn't a paper trail to say one way or the other. However, this rumor just won’t die. Where there's smoke there's fire? It is odd that this estate has been abandoned before it was finished, and no one has stepped forward to claim it. Because it has never been finished, there isn't much information as far as square footage or address. There also aren't any finished rooms inside the home. By the looks of it, someone should definitely finish the brick estate because it does look stunning. It has the potential to be truly breathtaking.

Spooky But Beautiful: The Exterior

I'm not sure if it's the overgrown grass, or the fact that it's abandoned, but this estate looks like it belongs in a haunted house article. There's something spooky yet beautiful about it. Three stories high, and many balconies and decks on different levels. It's hard to determine which window would belong to the main bedroom since almost each one has its own grand balcony.

This mansion has a classic vibe with the brick and stone patio. However the touch of the purple roof gives it a fresh and eclectic feel. It is also modernized with the addition of French doors and bay windows.

From what we can see, the interior would have been grand. With a spiral white staircase, vaulted ceilings, and a crystal chandelier. It's a shame this home hasn't been completed.

It looks like the home was meant to be an open floor plan, with marble flooring. Super high ceilings, and beautiful white drapes hanging over the French doors. 

Conclusion: Wasted Potential

Whoever this estate belongs to, I hope they finish it. It’s a shame with how gorgeous the exterior is, it has so much potential. It’s just a waste to have it sitting here all alone.
