4 Things to Implement to Really Lose Weight

July 8, 2023

These days, there are so many fad diets, weight loss trends, body image problems, and the list goes on. So many people are truly looking to get into better shape, they just aren’t sure how to do it properly. There are multi level marketing companies really targeting those people that just have no idea what they are doing when it comes to diet and exercise. Diet and exercise is actually quite simple. Compared to the things these companies are putting out there, it’s a lot less complicated than what you might expect. Here are 4 things to implement into your life that can help you lose weight the right way: first, stop starving yourself, second, introduce carb cycling, third, try intermittent fasting, and fourth, do high intensity cardio.

Stop Starving Yourself

Yes, stop starving yourself. This typically goes more for the women of the world. They are mainly the ones that might think that starving yourself is the best and quickest way to lose weight. There is no real healthy way to starve yourself. If you’re eating lightly on each meal every single day, that is no way to nourish your body, so therefore, once you do eat a decent meal it’ll more likely store in your body not the way that it is intended to do. Your body thinks it’s starving so it acts accordingly and stores it as needed. You must pull away from this way of thinking.

Carb Cycling

Instead of starving yourself, you carb cycle. Yes, carbs are okay when losing weight. But, it must be done in moderation or in carb cycling. There is research done on carb cycling that indicates carbs are still a healthy food for your body as long as it is being done correctly. You’ll go one to three days with eating little to no carbs and then one day eating carbs. And so on. There is a specific way to carb cycle for different types of bodies, so the best thing to do is research carb cycling and discover what is best for your body type.

Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting is definitely trending. But it is actually a good and healthy way to reset your body every night. This is not meant to starve your body, but just to reset it nightly so that your body can adjust itself correctly. Most people will only eat from noon to 7:00pm. All their food consumption will be eaten only within those hours of the day and nothing outside of those hours.

High Intensity Cardio

High intensity cardio sounds like an awful statement. Which, yes, high intensity cardio is not ideal for most people. But, it’s true that if you just do 15 minutes of intense cardio per day, along with all of these other things you will implement into your daily life, you will be able to see your weight loss journey begin quicker than you ever have before. Some people prefer to have help along the way. In that case, weight loss Idaho Falls has great options for your new journey.
