Patrick Dempsey is an American actor. He started his acting career in the 80’s with movies such as Can't Buy Me Love and Loverboy. In 2002 he starred opposite Reese Witherspoon in the rom-com Sweet Home Alabama. He then became well known to a whole new generation when in 2005 he took on the role of neurosurgeon Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd in Grey's Anatomy. His onscreen co-star and love interest was played by Ellen Pompeo. Dempsey played McDreamy until he left the show in 2015 when his character was killed off. Aside from his 80’s classics, and his career resurgence during Grey’s, Dempsey starred in movies such as Enchanted, Bridget Jones's Baby, and Freedom Writers.

This four bedroom four bathroom is 4,415 sq ft. The property really looks more like a resort. Featuring a covering of palm trees, a tennis court, and perfectly manicured lawns. It even sits in a guard gated community for added security. Inside the home, there are vaulted ceilings and a two story foyer. Most of the rooms open to the backyard, where there is a large patio and saltwater pool. Looks like Dempsey took that Grey’s Anatomy money and put it to good use, purchasing the $6.4 million Malibu home in 2016.
