Rue McClanahan Net Worth was an American television and stage actress who was best known for her role as Vivian Harmon on Maude, Aunt Fran Crowley on Mama’s Family, and Blanche Devereaux on The Golden Girls. After graduating from college, she began appearing in off-Broadway productions. She eventually made her way to the big screen, with a starring role in 1969’s Jimmy Shine. Her performance caught the attention of producer Norman Lear, who offered her a guest spot on All in the Family. This lead to her starring role on the spin-off show, Maude.

Over the course of her long career, McClanahan appeared in over 60 movies and TV shows. She was also a devoted activist and supported causes such as animal rights, LGBTQ rights, and the fight against AIDS. She was also a philanthropist and owned several properties in New York City.
