Whether you're a die-hard fan or a newcomer to the series, this review will help you decide if season four is worth your time. So, let's dive in and see if "You" season four lives up to the hype.

Where You Season 4 Was Filmed

In season four of You, Joe moves to London, where he becomes a professor and changes his name to Jonathan Moore. The latest season was filmed in parts of London, and some clips were taken at a real-life university.

In the show, Joe teaches at Darcy College, where he meets a series of new characters. However, the real college is called Royal Holloway, and it’s located just 19 miles from the hustle and bustle of the city of London.

Other scenes were filmed at the Knebworth House, which is shown to be one of the wealthy character’s family estates. This building is located in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, and belongs to a very real aristocratic family.

Joe’s apartment is located in South Kensington and was specifically filmed at Kynance Mews. You’ll also see some shots of Joe walking to and from his apartment. However, those scenes are shot at Cornwall Gardens.

There are some funeral scenes in the show as well that were filmed at a real church in London called St Bartholomew the Great. If you want to have the same aesthetic that You has, you can find a stock video of any one of London’s most famous landmarks.

New Characters Introduced in You Season 4

Kate Played by Charlotte Ritchie

Introducing a fresh addition to the series, Kate takes on the role of the new female lead. As the director of an art gallery, she possesses a straightforward nature and doesn't shy away from speaking her mind.

Unlike her boyfriend, Kate doesn't view her wealth as mere entertainment. While Kate and Joe initially clash upon their first encounter, their relationship is destined to evolve into a captivating romantic storyline.

Malcolm Played by Stephen Hagan

Malcolm and Kate are in a relationship, and Malcolm has a charismatic personality that captivates everyone at social gatherings. In addition to being a university professor like Joe, Malcolm belongs to an affluent circle of friends.

It’s through Malcolm's influential connections that Joe gets introduced to the prestigious Oxford society. However, unbeknownst to Joe, Malcolm hides a chilling secret.

Lady Phoebe Played by Tilly Keeper

Lady Phoebe, a prominent socialite from the UK, effortlessly captures attention wherever she goes. With her relationship with her boyfriend, Adam, constantly on display, Joe can't escape the image of their seemingly flawless love story.

Adam Patt Played by Lukas Gage

Hailing from a wealthy family on the East Coast, Adam embodies the stereotype of a privileged upbringing. As the sole inheritor of his family's fortune, Adam strives to meet his parents' expectations and make them proud. Adding to his social standing, he is romantically involved with Lady Phoebe.

Rhys Montrose Played by Ed Speleers

Intriguing Joe with his captivating memoir chronicling his rise from poverty to wealth, Rhys Montrose, a rising political figure, captures the spotlight. While he shares a close bond with the elite Oxford society, his humble origins often create a divide between his outlook on money and that of his affluent peers.

Final Thoughts

In the fourth season of You, Joe is trying to move on with his life, and that’s why he takes up a new identity and moves to London. But in order for him to move on, he needs to tie up some loose ends with Nadia, his love interest in season three. There are many twists and turns in the latest season, and there are some major cliffhangers in every episode. It’s safe to say that fans won’t be disappointed. So grab your popcorn and get ready for a thrilling ride in the new episodes of You!
