Love can be a messy business, and sometimes relationships need a little help. That’s where Couples Retreat comes in, a reality show that pairs up six celebrity couples and brings them to a beautiful setting where they can work through their issues. The series debuted on VH1 and moved to MTV for season three, and this time around the couples are heading to Sin City.

The movie was filmed in Bora Bora, a gorgeous location that is famous for its crystal clear waters and exotic beauty. The filming location is also known for its luxury resorts and some scenes were filmed at the St Regis Bora Bora, which is one of the most famous on the island.

The plot of the movie revolves around four couples who are friends and agree to use a package deal at a tropical resort in order to fix their strained relationships. They are not told that part of the deal is a requirement to participate in relationship counseling sessions with a psychologist.

While the first two seasons of the series were filmed in sunny California, the new episodes are taking things to the next level and heading to Las Vegas for some real-life therapy. The show will have six couples, including some familiar names from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, such as Apollo Nida (Phaedra Parks’ ex) and Sherien Almufti. They will attempt to rekindle their romance while doing a range of unconventional activities, such as herding cattle and trapezing with former Cirque du Soleil performers.
