After a three-year break, Dancing on Ice is gliding onto our screens once again with a new series that launched this week. Presented by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, the show sees celebrities team up with professional ice dancers in the hope of being crowned champions. Last year, former footballer Regan Gascoigne and his partner Karina Manta triumphed in the final. But where is the show filmed and can you skate there yourself?
ITV’s hit skating competition has been filmed at a purpose-built rink at RAF Bovingdon near Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire since its return in 2018. Prior to this, it was shot on the George Lucas stage at Elstree Studios. The airfield is no stranger to filming and has previously played host to such blockbusters as Rogue One and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
As for the cast, the line-up is jam-packed with TV and film stars such as Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Vivienne from The Wanted and Hollyoaks star Carley Stenson. There’s also former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer and BMX racer Kye Whyte, who narrowly missed out on making the semi-final in 2021 with her pro partner Mark Hanretty.

You can choose between production tickets, which are allocated to the team’s friends and family; priority tickets; or regular tickets.
