Most of the sequences are filmed in and around Los Angeles, especially in Burbank, a city in the south-central area of LA. The opening sequence of the show was filmed in a medium-sized modern-looking house located in the same area. In addition to that, the sequences involving the high school were captured in a private school with special permission from the authorities.
