When ABC relaunched The Bachelor in 2021, bachelor Clayton Echard had the chance to travel to many places around the world with potential future fiancees. While seasons prior to this year were filmed from hotels due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Echard’s season has been able to film outside of the Bachelor Mansion. This means he’s been able to visit some incredible locations that Bachelor fans will love!
The season kicked off with a group date at the stunning Nemacolin resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. The 2,000-acre property has tons of activities that Bachelor fans will love, like paintball, zip-lining, a golf course, a spa, and even a slot machine room. The resort also has a huge art collection that includes over 1,000 pieces. It’s enough to make you wish you were there.
On this group date, the ladies had to take part in an obstacle course race where they had to paddle across a lake on pumpkins while wearing squirrel costumes. The ladies included Serena P, Bri, Brittany, Ryan, Michelle, Chelsea, MJ and Magi. The last team to cross the finish line wins a rose and this is who ended up receiving one-on-one time with Matt.
After this, the cast stayed at a hotel in Clayton’s hometown of Houston, Texas. The city threw an event for the Bachelor cast and crew. Reality Steve tweeted a photo of the hotel, which features a mansion and is connected to a pool and two hot tubs. The show then filmed a group date at the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier and a one-on-one date in Hvar, Croatia.
