Jamie hyneman net worth is an American special effects expert and the founder of M5 industries. He is best known for his appearances on the Discovery Channel series MythBusters with Adam Savage. Hyneman grew up on an apple orchard in Columbus, Indiana and spent much of his youth hitchhiking around the country. He later graduated from Columbus North High School and then from Indiana University, where he earned a degree in Russian linguistics. He worked in a variety of jobs before moving to California and beginning his career as a model maker for film.

During this time, he met his wife Eileen Walsh, a science teacher, while running a sailboat diving charter business in the Virgin Islands.
