Kevin Bacon is a beloved American actor. He was born in Philadelphia in 1958, and started his career in 1978 with the movie National Lampoon's Animal House. Then in 1984 he gained worldwide recognition with the film Footloose. From then on he went to star in movies such as A Few Good Men, Tremors, Mystic River, and Crazy, Stupid, Love. Since 1988, Kevin has been married to fellow actress Kyra Sedgwick. The Hollywood couple have starred together in Pyrates, Murder in the First, The Woodsman, and Loverboy. They also share two children, Travis and Sosie. Sosie has also broken into the acting world, appearing in television series such as Mare of Easttown and The Closer. The Bacon family are closet-knit, and multi-talented, and prefer to live a quieter life when not appearing in Hollywood. Which is why they’ve lived in a farmhouse in Connecticut for over 35 years. Kevin and Kyra's Connecticut farmhouse was purchased in the 1980's. Featuring four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and 3,599 sq ft of space. Interestingly enough, when Kevin was negotiating the sale with the owner, who lived across the street, there was a stipulation that Kevin had to tear down a home that was also on the property. The former owner was adamant that it was haunted, due to a Native American being murdered by a colonial soldier during the 1700's.
Besides a former haunted house on the farm, Kevin and Kyra had loads of animals that they love to care for. Including goats, pigs, alpacas, and even ponies.
