If you’re a fan of Lee Child’s books, you might be surprised to learn that the fictional town of Margrave, Georgia was actually filmed in Ontario, Canada. As the show opens, Reacher arrives in the unassuming town of Margrave and is promptly arrested for a murder he didn’t commit. Luckily, the police officer who processed him, Roscoe Conklin (Willa Fitzgerald), has good ties to his old military unit and lets Reacher off the hook. But when members of the squad that escorted him to the station begin to die, Reacher has only one thing on his mind.
He sets out to track down the person responsible, finding a clue at the home of an imposing ex-con named Jobling. He also gets in touch with his colleague Molly Beth, who reveals that the men who killed the soldiers were involved in counterfeiting and that Reacher can take care of it. Reacher enlists Roscoe and Finlay to help him out. As they sift through clues and visit witnesses, Reacher’s instincts are proven right when the town turns against him.
